i installed mac os x leopard on my laptop and now it wont start?

the screen just says ”system config file '/com.apple.boot.plist' not found”. does anyone know the solution to my problem?
For i installed mac os x leopard on my laptop and now it wont start? try this:

• Make sure it is an apple computer.
  OS-X only works on apple systems.
  If it IS an apple computer check this site.

• GET RID OF MAC OS! I have had loads of trouble in the past with Mac operating systems. I would reinstall it with Windows. Or, if you don't like Windows go with Linux
