how do u put RAM in a mac?

im trying to buy this RAM from newegg.com -http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820144087 is this the right one and my mac info- Mac OS X version 10.4.11 and i only have two memory slots and i also ned to know how to put them since its in the screen and i dont want to mess any thing up a video would be great

• as the person who services my computers told me almost everyone gets into trouble with their computers because they try to be their own technicians. give apple a phone call on a toll free line. have all the necessary info at hand and ask them your questions. believe me you will be a lot better off. as this fellow tells me when i phone him. dont do anything. dont try and figure out the instructions. i know what the problem is. i will be right over. good luck bob

  if theres parts that you can add into your pc then it should be able to come apart no problem
  or just take it to geek squad
  
• Basically your best bet would be to follow these simple steps:
  
  1. Bring Mac to pawn shop
  2. Sell Mac for anything over $200
  3. Buy A real computer
  4. ????
  5. PROFIT
  
• It would help greatly to know what kind of Mac you are using. Is it aluminum? Is it a laptop or a desktop? I am just going to assume that you have either an iMac or a MacBook Pro.
  I am going to list a link to help you see pictures and such to do this on your own but the basic instructions are as follows:
  
  iMac (intel based): Turn off and unplug your computer, Put your computer face down on a soft cloth, unscrew the bottom rectangle that is filled with holes, swing outwards the white tabs called "DIMM ejector clips", remove your old ram (you may need to tug a little bit), insert your ram, push it snugly into place and then return the ejector clips to their original position.
  
  Macbook Pro:
  Turn off ,close and unplug your computer,
  Remove the battery using tabs on the bottom,
  unscrew the metal flap above the battery position,
  touch the metal surface under where the battery was to discharge your body,
  push the tabs holding the ram in to the left and right outward and then tilt upwards and pull out the ram, to install your ram you need to do the reverse...
  
  Be sure all ram is in firmly and that the clips are holding it in place and that you return all the screws to their proper positions before starting up your computer.
