what makes a mac cool?

the fact they can run os x and windows or the hardware? But a mac and a pc have the same basic hardware and you can run os x on a pc if you hack it. I preferer PCs.
PLUS macs are more expensive
all the the virus protective and user compatability is in the software
For what makes a mac cool? try this:

• smaller, more compact. PCs are ugly. Macs are reliable. They have apple care and apple stores that you can bring the computer to.
  
• Macs don't get viruses like how a PC does, also Macs are graphic oriented for people into art, graphic design, music, movie making, editing, writing music and it has better visual quality. Since Macs are made specifically for people in these professions, they are not the most popular computer you would find in every home across the US.. thats what makes it cool.
  
• size in comparison to memory capacity in comparison to the thinkpad(of corse i am talking about the macbook air)
  
• Mac is known for it's advertising. It's what gets them where they are. Otherwise, what they offer is just the same as the rest, besides the fact that Pc's are more Universal in hardware and software.
  
  If I were too buy one, it would be just for the looks of it. The functionality is nothing you can't get for free with Linux, or Windows.
  
• Overall, they are more reliable. In addition, there is more helpful support available because everything is made by the same company. Vendor specific problems are virtually eliminated, and software made for Mac typically runs more efficiently than software for the PC- except for games, which most PC fanboys criticize the Mac for right off the bat.
  
• Marketing. Apple has marketed their products to try and seem stylish. So people think they are cool because they have a mac.
  I've already got my flame retardant suit on for people to get cranky at me for that about.
  Some of their design features are innovative but in the end its all because people are trying to buy into an image.
  
• Macs are like puppies. They bounce and make cute noises :DDDD
  
• I reckon it's the ability to run windows and mac OS's... Oh, and mac's apparently* don't get any viruses.
