Yes, what type of computer is better. I know Vista is the latest version of windows, and Apple just launched Leopard OS X.

Out of the box, Apple offers some excellent software included in the bundle, but any special additional software requires purchase of a legit copy of the software you want. An upgrade of the Mac OS might include all new hardware as a requirement, and then you're faced with upgrade of your software library. Drivers for the external hardware on a Mac can present a problem.
  
  For add-ons and software choices, pc, at the XP level.
  
• I used Windows for 10 years, and recently switched to Mac OS X with Leopard. I would highly recommend a Mac. It is wonderful for watching movies and playing music, and also, it is highly advisable for designing and also programming as all compilers for almost every language is already installed on Mac.
  
  So, ultimately Mac is the best choice. Leopard is a wonderful operating system and way better than Vista.

  However, Mac's are more expensive. The software is more expensive and the software you have to choose from is far more limited than for a PC's.

• I've used both and and i prefer Apple. It is faster, not only when turning on the computer or running applications but also on the internet. They also have a very sensitive airports so you can connect to the internet in more places and pick up a signal. Also they come with so many programs that help you be organized. You can also run Windows on an Apple computer if you like. Another good thing about Apples is that they receive hardly any viruses. I've had my Apple laptop for 2 years and havent had a single virus or problem with it.
